WHY I’M RUNNING
First, thank you for visiting my page. Not enough voters take the time to research their candidates, and I’m grateful to those who do.
Carrollton deserves a City Council that listens before it acts. I’m Adam Polter — a veteran, a volunteer, and your neighbor. I’m running to preserve and, where possible, enhance your quality of life in our city, and to make sure every resident has a voice at City Hall.
My path here began 25 years ago when I moved to my home near Hebron and Old Denton and fell in love with this city. Since then I’ve led my neighborhood association, served on the Parks & Rec board, and represented you as the Place 2 councilmember from 2020 to 2023 — fighting for police staffing, infrastructure, affordable housing, and responsible stewardship of your tax dollars. In 2015 I led the grassroots petition drive that saved Indian Creek Golf Club from closure. You can read my full record on the Meet Adam page.
My work didn’t end when I left Council. I’ve kept attending meetings, following the agendas, and speaking at the podium because this city is worth fighting for.
Experience and a strong track record of advocacy matter in this election, and I can deliver results from day one. But I can’t do it without you — please consider volunteering, hosting a yard sign, or hitting that Donate button. Together we can make a difference.
